In health care , GKR Foundation extends financial support to a number of patients needing dialysis treatment during pre transplant period. The Foundation has donated two imported Dialysis machines to the Tanker Foundation at Chennai. In addition, specific lump sum amounts on an annual basis was donated to Tanker Foundation to facilitate subsidised dialysis treatments.

In the area of kidney care GKR Foundation has been particularly extending financial assistance towards purchase of the expensive immuno suppressive medicines during the post transplant surgery period.

GKR Foundation extends part financial assistance towards various heart surgeries that include valve replacements and coronary bypass surgeries and septal defects . Preference is given to infants, children and those in the productive phase of their working lives.

GKR Foundation has been actively supporting and continues to support the treatment of the diabetic patients by way of direct financial assistance to the patients or channelising the assistance through institutions specializing in diabetic care.
